Bursting with Pride

I'm posting from Bethany's office -- using the school Internet like a bad boy. Better make this quick.

I had a super birthday on Tuesday. Took the day off work and went to ComoxTown with Bethany. Dropped her at school, hit Tim's and the library, squeezed in a hockey game, did the grocery shopping, met Anthony*/Tammy/Mya/Josie (*Bethy's cousin) for a Steven Birthday Dinner at Boston Pizza. We had to split from BP rather quickly to fit in the best part of the day. The Comox School Board invited all the music teachers to come present their case for bringing back Band 7, which was done away with by the previous board (all since de-elected). Bethy worked hard on her speech, and hit a home run. With parents watching in Victoria via webcast, she gave a clear and concise argument as you can see from the following media coverage:

I am very proud of my wife! So despite being away from my own family and the usual birthday celebrations, I had a pretty great January 27th this year.
