CNN: News or Experiment?

I haven't given up blogging, but it's sure been a while since I posted. Thanks for checking back!

Blogger.com just forced me to sign up a Google account, against my will. Couldn't get back in without doing that. Seems Google's conquest of the Internet is spreading like a horde of Mongols!

A few CNN headlines I spotted at work today made my stomach turn. I'm talking about those graphic ribbons that are constantly shown along the bottom, with the ticker. They're designed to burn into your brain, with a bold red background and large-font letters. "Hip-Hop: Art or Poison?" was one... "The Gloves are off: Clinton vs. Obama" was the other.

Sorry I have no photo on hand for this post, that's a first. I'm using a library terminal. In fact, I've only got 4 minutes left on this session. Off to Vancouver tomorrow for a hockey tourney, I'll post again after that. Now for a swim with the Bethy! Bye bye..
