Britney the Balloon

So Britney Spears was on the MTV awards over the weekend, as you can see. The morning pundits were saying her performance was a disaster, she looked out of it, out of practice, and out of shape. It's the latter bit that's got my goat! Now, I didn't see any video of the thing, but caught a photo in the paper. Maybe it was a bad performance with bad singing (probably was) but for the mass media to be calling what you see above "out of shape" is horribly reckless and disappointing. This is what drives so many young people to stick their fingers down their throats. Brit looks fine, don't you think? I suppose the rib-showing, rail-thin crowd are the ones "in shape"! God help us all.
